Our new Singapore Collection – which is created in association with the Singapore Tourism Board – includes three classic Singapore dishes translated into easy and intuitive recipe kits, each containing specialist ingredients and step-by-step recipes enabling home chefs with any level of experience to cook up an authentic Singapore-style feast. Singapore boasts an incredibly vibrant food culture, infused with numerous influences, and this carefully curated collection allows any food-lover to experience home-cooked Singapore cuisine in their own kitchens.
Our Singapore Collection has been developed with the unique expertise of top Michelin star Singapore chef Haikal Johari. Chef Haikal is the Executive Chef at the helm of Alma restaurant in Singapore, leading the restaurant in its five consecutive years of clinching the prestigious One Michelin Star. Chef Haikal holds a distinguished culinary career in some of the finest restaurants in the region, including at the highly-acclaimed Water Library restaurants which he helped establish in Bangkok, Thailand. Chef Haikal brings with him a combination of Asian flavours and influences – from Japanese herbs to Thai spices – which he incorporates into Alma’s menu, resulting in fine European cuisine with a nuanced Asian twist.
Singapore-born and London-trained, Tan Zi Xiis an acclaimed artist and illustrator currently working in Singapore. Zi Xi
is the recipient of numerous awards and commendations, including a prestigious Gold from the Singapore Creative Circle Awards 2015, nominated 40 Under 40 in 019 and an honouree of Gen.T list 2021. Zi Xi constantly seeks new ways to express herself, exploring media and forms out of her comfort zone. Striving always for meaning in her work, she pushes beyond the decorative into the narrative, be it a personal view of a subject close to her heart or an acute
