TIME OUT DUBAI | 18 JANUARY 2022 | The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) will be hosting various activities at the Singapore Pavilion at Expo 2020 on 22 January 2022.
The event, which will mark Singapore Day, comes as part of its SingapoReimagine campaign, which aims to bring together both home-grown and global communities to reset and revive tourism and build anticipation for future travel to the country.
Launched in November 2020, SingapoReimagine aims to bring safety, technology, experiences and sustainability to the fore.
Come join Singapore Tourism Board at Singapore Pavilion on 22 January and participate in various activities that have been planned for you to celebrate the Singapore Day.
Attend STB’s SingapoReimagine Global Conversations, a panel discussion which will be held at the Terra Auditorium, Expo 2020 between 3 to 5pm. The seminar will bring together top speakers from across the world to discuss how urban design and technology are transforming traveller experiences in a post-lockdown world.
Between 5:30 to 6:30, be part of a reimagined culinary experience – Stories of Taste and Passion event. There will be a showcase of reimagined food concepts, ‘Made with Passion’ brands and an insight into Singapore’s shift towards food sustainability.
Singapore-based Michelin Star Chef Haikal Johari will be making a special appearance at the Singapore Day event. He will be joined by Beverly Au Yong, Area Director, Singapore Tourism Board, Middle East and Nisha Ramisetty, co-founder of Naksha in this special culinary experience. Chef Haikal will also share about his passion for food and the gourmet recipe kits he has created in partnership with Naksha which will be available in major supermarkets in the UAE.
What’s more, attendees will get a chance to try the delicious dishes by Chef Haikal, along with Naksha’s Singapore gourmet food kits.
